I'd check and make sure the ink cartridges it takes are readily available. Nothing is more frustrating than snagging a bargain printer and being at a loss when it comes to finding replacement ink in town.
I never can plan it right to order ink, it's always that quick dash out to the store for me.
Just a thought to save you frustration down the line.

They make very good products. I know here that they have the ink refills at Walgreens. So finding ink shouldn't be a problem.

If you want consistancy in color, and colorfastness, stay away from teh refills./ As someone who prints out large graphics daily, and works in teh graphic design area... dont skimp.

For home / msall office use, go with a black and white laser, and a color if you really need it. If you do go color, epson makes a nice system that lets you change out each color (CMYK) and their inks are mostly waterproof. Saves you money, and lets you print on things like t-shirt transfers.

Oh, most home printers under $50 are disposable machines.. it breaks, you just get a new one. Dont expect it to come with full ink carts either, they generally only come with a 1/2 or 1/4 full one in the case of the cheep home units.

Expect to pay at least $200 for decent quality color, that you can reproduce, and will last.
