Xbox and PS2

Did I miss something or can these not re-sell that highly? I was offered only $70 what's the proper re-sale value on an xbox + games and ps2 plus games? Or was the guy just trying to get a good deal?

I can provide more information but I'd just like to find out why the re-sale is $35 for one system plus games. When did this happen? and what would be the proper re-sale value?

I know that PS2's sell for about $130 new. Whack off 50% for a decent resell price.

Xboxes are worth far less as they're of cheaper fare and aren't sold any longer due to obsolescence so $35 for crap-box plus alone is reasonable. $60 for crap-box plus games is probably a good deal depending on the games. PS2 is still having new games being made for it, so its resale value is higher.

EBGames sells used, refurbished XBoxes and original PS2s for $35. So, go from there.

socom: u.s. navy seals
grand theft auto 3
enter the matrix

naval ops warship gunner
ps2 carrying bag (travel bag)
net work adapter with software

xbox
3 controlers
With the following games:
halo 2 (with book and expansion)
greg hastings max'd
ghost recon 2
forza motorsports
crimson skies
star wars battle front 2
ninja gaiden

That would only be worth $140 if I'm understanding correctly?

The local Gamers ect Offered me 30$ for my ps2 with 4 controllers and a remote not counting the games and that was about 3 months after the PS3 came out.

Also note that system resellers like gamestop, etc. short-change you on your stuff. While I'm a big gamestop fan for buying used and new games, if I'm going to sell them one of my games it's b/c I no longer play that game and just want a discount on another game.

So, let's say I want to sell my NDS and my entire nintendo gb library....I wouldn't take gamestop's offer. They give you a fixed lowball offer, and you can either take it or leave it. They do this to make money, and that's cool. But if I'm looking to make a decent amount BACK, then they're last on the list. If I'm just wanting to get rid of the system and/or games, then they're fine b/c then I can get $$ off other used and new games for a system I DO play.

That would explain why I still have Alone in the Dark.

What I still can't figure out is why I paid $55 for it in the first place.
