Team Fortress 2 for $10 this weekend on Steam

For anyone who has wanted to play TF2 for awhile now has no excuse not to buy it. It is a near perfect multiplayer game.

I know this may sounds false but I think it is one of the BEST and most unique online shooter games EVER created. Once you get into the game, it is quite fun.

I just noticed this today so I wanted to post it here.

IMO, I think valve should charge $40-$50 for the game but instead the base price is normally $20.

This weekend only, it is 50% off and I really encourage people to buy it. $10 is a great price.

I paid $50... It was well worth it though, I've played it more than any other game ever now. It's addicting as hell and there's so much depth.

Quake Wars is an amazing game. TF2 is as well just a different type of game really (one is more objective based the other is simply kill everything)

TF2 is kill everything and I wish I could be playing it but I dont want to steam it up and QW is so stable and my mac buddies can play it too, its just a winner. Objectives are annoying to me at first but it ties together some very large maps. I have no doubts that both games are great but QW is the only one of them that I play.

I actually don't care much for 2. Getting rid of grenades and detpacks oversimplifies things. Having passages only available by blowing a big hole in the wall, and removed by blowing it shut added strategy to well coordinated team play.

I LOVE TF2! I think it's an awesome game. I haven't had so much fun since playing the original Quake TF and Quake CTF. TF Classic just wasn't the same. Yeah, sometimes I miss the good old MIRV, nail and napalm grenades, but I think TF2 easily makes up for it with other features the original never had like Uber charging, gaining alternate weapons through achievements, and just the simple cartoonish humor atmosphere. It's a lot more fun and light hearted than military style shoot'em up's.

I highly recommend TF2, and for single player, Portal.

If anyone wants to add me as a friend, I am Wade Butcher on Steam, and Finnigan in game.

Edit: Oh, by the way. In TF2 I have recently been hit with flash grenades, nail grenades, AND the equivelant of a MIRV. I don't remember what server I was on, but some people ARE playing TF2 with grenades.

I just bought it for the $10 deal, thanks for posting it. The spy seems to be the easiest for me to get kills with and the most fun.

My steam name is cheesetogo if you want to add me, Striker9 in game.

Finnigan, I tried adding you but it can't find you.
