Games I'm excited about this year (PC)

Operation Flashpoint 2 - Did you hear thes size of this game? Something like 4-5 times the size of Farcry 2!

COD 6 - COD always had fun games.

Battlefield 1943 - About time BF! I have always been a fan of BF games.

Singularity - I might have spelled it wrong. Looks intense! Like a mix of half-life puzzle solving, bioshock creepiness, and kinda reminded me of crysis.

Anythign else coming this year for the PC that you're excited of?!

There are games that look good in every issue of PC Gamer I get, but I really don't go after the new new games, so it's hard to say I'm excited about any of them. Borderlands looks like it's a really neat idea, but who knows when it'll be coming out, or if their grand vision will succeed (kinda like how Hellgate London promised a lot and then flopped not long after it went gold). Dragon Age by Bioware promises to be very exciting for the RPG'ers in the audience. The preview of BioShock 2 looks very promising, but once again, probably not going to be out this year. Can't think of any other titles I've read about recently, off the top of my head, may come up with some others later on.

I was going to look up a few more to tell you about, but my internets f***** up. I can't remember Borderlands, but it's on my list of games to look at. Was gonna google it to make sure I knew what you were talking about, but alas.

Another interesting one was The Crossing. I honestly can't remember, I might be getting games mixed up, but I think it's like where you fight medival guys in modern times. Looked interesting atleast. Was like assassins creed plus, idk, cod maybe.

I can't rememebr if it was Borderland or The Crossing, but one of them has been in development for a loooonngg time.

Stupid internet. I wanna see those games again and make sure I know what I'm talkign about. I always youtube games and see gameplay before I think about liking it or not. Articals and screenshots don't cut it.

edit; Actually, it's only a problem with google and youtube. Anyone else having issues?

Cool, it's working for me again. Here's the trailor for The Crossing. It was announced like three years ago, and they announced it's coming out this year. I doubt it, but whatever. This is the trailor from 2007, they haven't released a new one to my knowlege.

From what I remember from this month's PCG, Borderland has been in development for a long, long time. A large part of the story dealt with how they completely revamped the look of the game and the graphics engine in the last couple of years. It has more of a cell-shaded look rather than the fairly realistic art style they were working with, as they were trying to distinguish their game from every other game out there with a realistic game engine.
