i was watching this guy the other night and he was hacking. had a long list of things he could do and at the top it said ADMIN. i sent him a message calling him a cheatin ***. i watched him try to de-rank me and then he did something and my system froze up. didnt lose any data or anything. but wtf!!

reported him profile to PSN and they responded saying they got his ip address, his ps3's mac address and blocked them both along with all the other profiles on his system.

thank you PSN!!! LOL think its pretty funny!! people dont think playstation will do anything about things like that. i got a message from him earlier to and from another name and im guessing new ps3 too, he was pretty pissed. so reported that one aswell and its now blocked and unable to come online

any of you guys see anything like this while your just watching players while your waiting to respawn or just not got in the game yet?

i watched him click "god mode" and every enemy player had a red square around them, he was invisible and he didnt even have to aim, just hit L1 and shoot and there dead.

now how the hell do these guys hack like that? im not wanting to do it but i play console instead of computer for the lack of hackers. cant sony do something about the hackers??

the last time i played there was this guy who was running around with the same guns as an ac130, had all the specs on the side when you use the kill streak and just blowing everything up. it looked like he had the c4 clacker in his hand while running but when you saw him you got blown up

cockerfanatic... It's not really Sony's problem. MW2 is running on IWNet, so while it's Sony's hardware it's not really Sony's infrastructure.

BTW: The PS3 isn't like the 360, so out of curiosity what steps did you use to report them? I've gotten into 3 hacked lobbies in the past 4 days or so and that info. would come in handy.

I have an HD-PVR but usually don't have my laptop turned on for recording, although maybe I should record some of those shens just for some s**ts-n-giggles afterwards.

well just got hacked again and this time most of my guns kills and headshots went to 0

about 10 days of playing gone to nothing

sony wants you to report any grief you may get from playing ANY game on the system! they want the people who buy there product to have a smooth, great experience.

it took a while to get it done, but first i googled how i could go at reporting them, and well read quite a few pages on a few forums and other websites, watched some videos about it but eventually i emailed sony, IW, support from the main COD page and activision. activision wasnt much help but IW contacted sony and sony contacted me via email. i was asked questions about the peoples profiles what i saw them do, what was done and how it happened. i also got a few from my friends list that were in game with me to do the same thing as me so there were 5 of us total that reported them. in the 2nd or 3rd email i was given this link to show what they WILL ban people for.

if you notice a hacker, write there ID name down!

it ended up taking a little while for them to do anything and each day i would get on i would have message from the hackers, well everyday i kept contacting sony and so didnt my other friends that were being hacked by the same guys. we eventually got an email saying they banned there psn accounts, blocked there ip addresses from connecting to the whole psn network and even said they put a block on the mac address for the 3 different ps3 systems that were used. dont know how they got all that but i think its damn funny!!

not just 1 report will get them banned with most cases. but we had 5 of us complaining daily because they kept harassing us, they some how would always get into our game and they would get in that damn god mode with the aim bot. headshots EVERYTIME!! no need to aim just shoot. it got to the point where we would get into a game and start playing, 1 of them would pop up and all out screens would freeze. have to restart the system.

all in all, i think im done with MW2. i wasnt going to prestige and with all my stuff lost pisses me off!! there 10 days of work just to get hacked and go back to start?? screw that! ill wait to get black ops at the end of the month i guess. ill play WAW till then

^^^ LOL I remember that hack from Xbox 360. It is similar to the prestige hack. The prestige hack gives you like + million XP for a kill BUT there was also one that was like - a million XP and causes you to get screwed over.

yea its some major BS!!! all my assault and sub machine guns are all 0 tho all the other things are done BUT the kills and headshots. i had most atleast to blue tiger! some on red working on the fall

but everything else is still the same.

I prefer to work for my upgrades. Makes things mOre rewarding.

I'm thinking about upgrading to black ops at some point.

i know, whats the point of hacking and using aim bots or to be invisible? theres no skill in it. they got to hack cuz they must be real ****ty!! if thats the case they just need to stay on the single player game on EASY!

They think it makes them better when they have unlegit k/d ratios. Some of them also enjoy griefing people.

I know a local kid that uses glitches and all his friends do as well. I refuse to play with any of them.
