are these 2 phantoms the same mechanically? or are they different? also, i didnt see an answer to the thread question above, do they accept the same threads?

They both have the same threading.

As for mechanically, they both seem to work fine. I have not chrono'd either of them. As stated, the black one is missing it's return spring.
