Interesting design, with the female Stabilazer being the pump guide. I imagine there hasn't been much response because of the lack of return spring...how smooth is the pump stroke?

The pump stroke is actually a tad bit lighter than that of the J2L I have. It's smooth; I'd replace the old swollen bolt orings to make it smoother but I don't have any spares. The pump handle is a bit wobbly though due to lack of a secondary guide arm, but a Carter style return spring might fit, I'll have to check.
