KP2-illusion-007

The first gun up on the block is a KP that I bought from lee. It is a remarkable gun and some of you may know its history. Since I made the purchase it has been used on a few outings. The gun definitely is efficient as well. with a pump changer I was attaining 30 usable shots per cart and thats on the first cartridge. I never counted the second cart but I am sure it was a few more than that. The gun to me is unique in that the gun started its life as a kp3 but lee cut the breech open a little bit more then soldered in a new patch it is could have a tube put back on. I am thinking that the spring feed holds upwards of 17 rounds. I believe the spring feed was a palmers addition.

Here is a picture of the patch.

It is a very nice rifle and while it holds more paint and can shoot more efficiently then my main KP I have a hard time switching between them and since I have more invested in the other I have decided that this one must go.

Now I wont lie I am going to offer it back to lee first.

Next up is the illusion with SC feed.
I cant tell you a ton about this marker because honestly its not mine, my brother looks to be getting out of paintball and wishes to part with this. So if youve been hunting for an illusion with the SC feed this might be you last chance for a long time.

Now I dont know whats its efficiency is but I know he shoots less than 500 rounds a day and a 9oz tank seems to last him.

Now for the pictures.

I am asking 320 for the illusion with SC feed

And now the nelspot.

Not much to tell about the nelly actually. I picked her up last year at fall castle, she was seized with rust. I now have it functioning and the velocity could use some adjusting but that nothing a nelson spring kit couldnt fix. When it was purchased nothing would move, after I freed it up I gave all of the parts a bath in Pblaster minus the seals of course. Upon removing the pieces they were then sanded up a little more to help get rid of some more rust then given another dip in blaster.

She was holding air earlier this summer but seems to lack that ability now. I am positive that its an easy fix as teh leak is coming from under the valve so it could be only one of two reasons ans either is an easy repair.

I am placing this at 75 due to its condition.

Nice Nelly. But I wonder why it's got battle grips without the hole for the 12 gram? Never seen one like that...
