i run a sidewinder valve in VSC set up.

i dont get any more shots per 12ie, atleast nothing drastic. what i did notice is alot less of a shot curve so the FPS stays consistant till the last shot.

sidewinder is around 450psi with a special valve spring. (1.3 lb opening force.)

Set the reg at 450psi, and no higher than 500psi. Drop down the springs by one color, or clip some coils.

Wait-a-sec... Punisher did what? Regulator integrated with valve...???

Nothing diffirent than what RedneckS did, or can be attained through PPS.
A reg's a reg. Run it the way you like, but expect better accuracy

Expect better consistency, but NOT accuracy.

Better consistency can equal to a better grouping at the same range so it can affect accuracy depending how you see it.

Consistency does equate to better accuracy, due to exact repetitive pressure inputs optimized by the regulator. Assuming your choice in paint are of good quality, and your barrel adapts to them nicely.

You sure about DSA's springing?

I'm using red main and blue valve in R043.

Let me try this, if you shoot a ball at 285 fps, and another at 300fps, with all else being the same, how is one more "Accurate" than the other? It isnt, as they both shoot the same, but one will travel less distance or more, so groupings may be tighter, but no more accurate. What your saying is, if you shoot a ball at 285fps, you wont be able to hit your target where you want to (not distance related), but at 300fps you would be able to (again, not distance related) or vice versa.

Leaving for SPE in an hour or so, let me think about this on the drive up, maybe my thinking is way off base here............
