This Taso Spartan had seen better days when I got my hands on it, earlier this year.

It was missing several bolts and plastic shims and the anodizing was worn just about everywhere.

This "before photo" was flattering. In person, it looked like it had been dragged behind a pickup truck.

This weekend, I found replacement bolts for several that were missing or simply wrong. #8 and #10 nylon washers worked perfectly for spacers on the pump arms and valve bolts, to prevent wear on the body.

I stripped the anodizing and gave the whole thing a good cleaning. It could use a bit of buffing but it looks and functions worlds better. Under the grime and wear marks, the marker was actually in really, really good condition.

After photos follow:

Thanks to Donated Tonsil for the anodizing stripping advice (oven cleaner, let it sit, nylon scrubber) and Frink for the original sale.

THE-SHOOTIST Anyone chubbin' like me for this?
mailmanmike Since Monday! That's more than 4 hours though, so according to those cialis ads I should see my doctor.
tlane77 I think for a non-chemical chubby it's 6 hours before its time to see a doctor. So you should be good for another couple hours.
splattttttt I wasn't goin to google "chubbin" because I assumed it had to do with fat. The lard type, not the fun stuff. But what ever feelings Jeff's experiencing, then they must be of the fun like stuff...
tlane77 He's got a woody for your woods.
