I think with the thumb type pump, having the M16 grip might make it very comforable to pump it with the grip sweeping back further than a 45 style. Me personally, like the 45 style grips much better, but I think overall the position of your hand might be better off with the grip as is.

But with a .45 grip you could actually hold it like a hand gun and put the adjustable pump plate in such a place that your thumbs would naturally be right there, it'd be perfect.

Just Ordered...

To be honest, I look at this as more of a novelty pump. Its a original design with a lot of nice stock features. But for overall use, I think it will end up in the gear bag most often. For $200 bucks, it will be a fun toy, but I woundnt buy it for $300. But thats just me....
