IIRC Cerakote is similar to Duracoat, if so then its basically painted on a couple layers then baked on... Correct me if I'm wrong though.

Your correct, but, cerakote has a better coverage area, so it can go on thinner than duracote, and it hold up beter than duracote. The cerakote plant is two doors down from my plant.

*giggle*

I got mine! Well, in all fairness, I wasn't part of the pre-order. But, just to rub it in to some people *cough* splattttttt *cough*, I am the first to have bought one that someone else had already gotten. And received it...

Thanks commandoman. I'm giggling around the house. The girls, well, they already know that I am weird.

What about using a Cerakote finish? Will this be thin enough?
I can't answer exactly and there's no way to be absolutely sure of course. BUT if you know how thick the coating will be (in microns usually) you can run it by Brian at Metadyne and he can probably give you a better answer.

Here are some pics, because everything goes better with pictures:

So until I choose to get it annoed (I'm actually thinking about doing hydrographics, if anyone has any opinion about this?), maybe some purple plaid or white baroque fleur de lis?

I installed the side pump lever. I think that they are supposed to be for the right side, but I mounted it on the left, which seemed more logical to me. Unless you are left handed...
Compared to a PGP

Compared to a PPS Super Stocker

Tried my best to get some side by side comparisons with the PPS Super Stocker

I decided to see what it would look like with a L stock. I had to replace the grip with one from a Hammer pump. The stock M-16 style grip has an oval opening in the bottom. Be aware of this if you are thinking about a stock or whatever with one of these.

And a bit closer up of the lever and the L stock.

I haven't aired it up yet, that will probably be tomorrow. I know that it is easy to thumb "pump" it. I noticed that the bucket changer (CCI isn't it?) is a bit tight. I keep thinking that I am grinding down the aluminum on the threads (Both sides), but I think that it is okay. I haven't tried a barrel yet, but since I saw that the person that I got mine from had a barrel on it, I think that it will be okay.
