I have a Sportshot that I've used for several years without a problem. The APP has gotten very good reviews. I expect either would be fine.

My mid-rise feedneck is not at all too tall on the open class adapter, I think it will work perfectly.

I like my APP hopper most of all the 50 rounds I've seen and used (there are three of those: the Winchester and the silly looking BE).

I use it on my S6.5.

APP, Winchester, Sportshot, you'll be fine with any of them, though the extra capacity of the sportshot is nice, and it doesn't feel like it has a much larger profile when you're playing.

If you will ignore the taped=togetheredness, here's the gun with a slightly cut down Sportshot hopper:

I got the CCM Winchester Feedneck since that's what I mainly use for pump.

Is that the new cool trend, the reverse 45 grip?

Lo

I hope not, it was one of things you know? I held it up like that, Tymcneer said, lets go make it, I dithered over whether or not to do it for 30 seconds, then it got done. For open class, normal is so much better, but for stock class, it could be fun. If it catches on too much, I'll have to try something else. Maybe put a clamshell frame on it and call it a Thimmy.

Crit, I'm assuming you are going to "pump" it with the left hand, correct?
doesn't seem like that rifle-ish grip angle would be comfortable for right handed thumbing.

I'm left handed, so reverse anything I say for regular people. The way I imagined it, holding it left-handed, I would be using my right hand thumb to pump the gun with the paddle all the way forward, or, using the left hand paddle pushed all the way back, use my left-hand thumb, and moving it from behind the backblock, to push down, kind of like when you payed cowboys and indians with your finger and thumb as the gun.

Hope that makes sense.
