THE-SHOOTIST Anyone chubbin' like me for this?
mailmanmike Since Monday! That's more than 4 hours though, so according to those cialis ads I should see my doctor.
tlane77 I think for a non-chemical chubby it's 6 hours before its time to see a doctor. So you should be good for another couple hours.
splattttttt I wasn't goin to google "chubbin" because I assumed it had to do with fat. The lard type, not the fun stuff. But what ever feelings Jeff's experiencing, then they must be of the fun like stuff...

This thing it NOT budging; I've used every manner of gripping material, tried any point of leverage I can find, but this thing is SOLID. There isn't anywhere to get sufficient leverage without damaging the part itself. Even if I clamped the back half in a vice, the only thing to grab on to the front half with is the little pump rod guide loops which would bend/break/etc.

I've tried twisting, banging, wiggling, shimmying, shaking, etc, but it hasn't budged at all. I can't even fit a piece of paper between the two halves.

Fairly ridiculous IMO.

my thumper just showed up on my doorstep. Two crossman 12g's and 45rnds later i have to say this thing is, i guess the word for it would be "interesting"

I took video basically just as it came from the box from metadyne, i couldnt find my chrono to be 100% but the velocity seems right on. Added my hybrid grips and put a Celani paintball .685 barrel on it shooting RPS Evil at around a .682 bore. I will have the video up later.

Autotrigger either doesnt work or i am not using it right because it works ok with no air hooked up. not a huge deal though as i dont plan on using it.

Detent problem is still present i had about three shots get stuck in the breech and i had to wiggle around so it would reset the marker....the problem there though is in trying to reset the breech i would get double feeds or the marker would self fire. Going to look into this more and see if i can come up with a fix. I do have a question though as i dont remember seeing this else where but there is a little metal tab extending into the breach it looks like thats where the ball sits on. I think if that tab was cupped there wouldnt be a problem.

Lastly and this is just a preference thing or maybe just my lack of stock class experience but having an extra ball of length on the feed tube would be nice so you could reload with two balls still in the marker.

On the good side the marker is seriously solid feeling and the thump stroke is nice and smooth, i have owned a couple phantoms and much prefer how this feels over a phantom. Because of the dump valve its as quiet as a spool valve gun and the cocking of the gun sounds awesome with the little chuff.

Should have some pics and more info on it later on
