Thumpers look great with a nice gloss CCI acid wash. Someone has a nice splash too I think.

THE-SHOOTIST Anyone chubbin' like me for this?
mailmanmike Since Monday! That's more than 4 hours though, so according to those cialis ads I should see my doctor.
tlane77 I think for a non-chemical chubby it's 6 hours before its time to see a doctor. So you should be good for another couple hours.
splattttttt I wasn't goin to google "chubbin" because I assumed it had to do with fat. The lard type, not the fun stuff. But what ever feelings Jeff's experiencing, then they must be of the fun like stuff...

Gonna have to call up the anodizers that did the first run Thumpers and see about getting mine reanno'd. I'm not generally hard on my guns, and scratches have appeared on my Thumper simply from storing it. Depending on the cost, I may have to try someone around here. I'd love a good acid wash or splash.

Hmm what about the tolerances? Metadyne seemed to make a big deal about the custom anos for the preorder. I wonder how much of that was just them being careful.

He was, and thats why he suggested the original company first, I'll have to ask him how much I need to worry about that. I'm sure that the center body that houses the piston assembly has to be within exacting tolerances, but after that, I'm not sure how much needs to be within that tolerance.

I have to admit, I'm not a fan of the "dust" finish. I'm always cleaning it and finding scratches. I'll see after this coming season and might send it off for a new anno.

Brian is saying he never recieved it but the post office is saying it was delivered. i think it may have been delivered and fixed already since it was 10 days ago and Brian doesn't remember. i have tried calling him but you know how that goes. voicemail box is full and no answer.

Technically he is in Garden City, they switched a lot of zip codes around a month or so ago so our state is playing catch-up now.

Still no response from Metadyne. I'm guessing they're either ignoring or they're backlogged. I hope it's the latter. Harumph!

^^^ I'm in the same boat. I e-mailed and did a service request some time ago. I wonder how backlogged they are.
