Sent in my thumper for the new hammer and piston and got it back within two weeks. Tested it out today, works great but still no autotrigger. Was the new hammer suppose to fix that? I did notice I got around 30 shots per 12 gram which is better than the 25 shots I was getting before I sent it in.

So after experiencing some obvious reg sticking, I decided to pull it apart again. I think I found my problem.

The reg piston is cracked. Don't ask me how this happened, I have no idea. I pulled the orings off in anticipation of needing to get a new reg piston.

mine looked the same. i wouldn't say it is cracked since you can take some fine sandpaper and buff that off. it is more like a fine layer of aluminum that has overlapped itself.

Is it possible your piston stop (the set screw on the right side of the body) is screwed in too far? It only needs to be tight enough to seal against the o-ring inside the body threads. I can see the design causing reg stick if it's too tight.

I'll call them and see where yours it at, Jack. They told me they would call me but that was a week or so ago.

If you wish to, it's not really necessary, it was meant to be a fix for small paint getting caught between the breech and the side wall. If you aren't having problems with that then I wouldn't worry about it.

I thought that the new hammer was going to grant magical AT powers but found that even though it seemed like it did while dry-firing it wasn't the case after applying air/paint.

THE-SHOOTIST Anyone chubbin' like me for this?
mailmanmike Since Monday! That's more than 4 hours though, so according to those cialis ads I should see my doctor.
tlane77 I think for a non-chemical chubby it's 6 hours before its time to see a doctor. So you should be good for another couple hours.
splattttttt I wasn't goin to google "chubbin" because I assumed it had to do with fat. The lard type, not the fun stuff. But what ever feelings Jeff's experiencing, then they must be of the fun like stuff...

I'm trying to be as unbiased as possible, don't want to get burned again, but I've been able to play a couple times with the "V2" aka "V1.5" thumbper, and so far it's worked really well...

I've probably put ~300 balls through it so far, only had 1 memorable occasion where a ball went in funny and the breech didn't close. Other then that, it's shot everytime I've pumped it... weird.

Efficiency isn't as good as my TPX though, I'm only getting ~25 shots out of a 12ie. It's cold out, so that could play a bit into it, maybe by summer I'll be able to get 30.

Also, the new feedtube holes are a pain in the butt to clean

Here me is Thumbping on Sat:

Barrel was JUST a kaner back, and it was working pretty well
