I sent mine in around mid JAN and got it back in FEB... I've got the newest iterations of the pieces (up until that point), so I think I have the new hammer. The only thing I've used on it are 12 grams and I've put 60 rounds through it (3x12 grams). Not sure what velocity it is at...

THE-SHOOTIST Anyone chubbin' like me for this?
mailmanmike Since Monday! That's more than 4 hours though, so according to those cialis ads I should see my doctor.
tlane77 I think for a non-chemical chubby it's 6 hours before its time to see a doctor. So you should be good for another couple hours.
splattttttt I wasn't goin to google "chubbin" because I assumed it had to do with fat. The lard type, not the fun stuff. But what ever feelings Jeff's experiencing, then they must be of the fun like stuff...

I played a full day with the thumper today. It was so epic. I shot a guy in the face one handed while I was in a dead sprint. I also successfully duel wielded and killed two people at once with my TPX in the right and thumper in the left. I love this gun.

I got to play with a Thumper for the first time. I had so much fun with it. Even when my little girl was with me towards the end of one game, my mask was fogged up a bit, and the Thumper was acting up a bit, I didn't want to hand it off to her, and shoot the guy in the open with my Ego that she was using. Funny enough, I shot more paint than she did, her using my Ego8 with Vlocity hopper, my using the Thumper stock class.

This is the new piston straight from Brian. If you notice the cap now has a cap screw that threads into the body. the end where the set screw went will now have a small o-ring to keep air/C02 from escaping.
At this point he waiting on little lock washers to come in for the cap screw. With a little loctite it shouldn'y come lose.

Any ETA on that? The local warlords (my team) are arming up for a big game next month, so I'm kinda anxious to get this gun in before May.

I put a very thin o-ring on the front of the breach on the outside of the piston housing and got a huge FPS jump. I'm not sure if everyone else already had this o-ring or if I was the only one without one but I had to chrono the marker WAY down. Gun worked great until I got it on the field sunday and it just stopped firing. I think the valve stopped working, I took the rest of the marker apart and everything was in order.
