You can see how the metal on the reg piston had formed a lip on it, which is why I polished it it the first place. I thought it had cracked, but it was just a lip that had formed in the metal. Be careful not to take too much off the reg piston though when you polish it.

mailmanmike Since Monday! That's more than 4 hours though, so according to those cialis ads I should see my doctor.
tlane77 I think for a non-chemical chubby it's 6 hours before its time to see a doctor. So you should be good for another couple hours.
splattttttt I wasn't goin to google "chubbin" because I assumed it had to do with fat. The lard type, not the fun stuff. But what ever feelings Jeff's experiencing, then they must be of the fun like stuff...

No. I figured there was no point since they aren't a place where friction will occur.

So, do you think this might be what has been causing the markers to just freeze randomly?

I'm fairly certain that is what was making mine freeze randomly. I can't speak for other peoples' guns though.

would be helpful to know what the Thumper's operating pressure was, ie; if the working pressure set at the reg was super low, I could see issues with the reg piston sticking if thee was a tolerance issue. Or maybe not.

Ever since i have double regged my Thumper i haven't had any sort of issues, but i assume i don't shoot as much with it as some of you do so i don't know if i can really comment on that. I open the thumpers reg fully and then use my palmer stab to do the input pressure. It shoots round about 270-280fps with 200-250 psi.

I am so confused and hungover right now... but I thought you were talking about the regulator itself... You really think that part is the culprit? My mind is blown right now...

My thumper has worked flawlessly since the polish job. Before it seemed like no air was getting into the gun.

Can someone post some pics of the oring mod that was supposed to increase efficiency? Im getting 28 shots per 12ie at 270 and I'd love to get 30 or more.
