So they started to ship the new wide detent system?
I guess then its finally the time to send mine in.

I have not gassed it up last night, but tonight I will lube it up and test fire it a few times just to see if it works. Saftey is not on and will have to check the spring, any one try and cut a ring off the spring?
dont want to affect anything but I think my spring binds up alot when I was using it.
Most likely it's this o-ring here needs lubed, I noticed that mine stuck after adding it until I lubed it:

As for the spring, you can use a weaker one, but if you're using a heavier barrel it wont work for you.

Okay guys I've checked the regular piston and the regulator piston. Both look fine and it's still doing the same thing. When I pulled the front cap or can off, the bolt hasn't returned to the full forward position. It sits back into the cap like a quarter inch. I've taken this thing apart and reassembled it so many times. Someone please take this off my hands. Anyone know how to fix this or wanna make an offer please do so. Pm me offers if interested. I do have to say that I love this gun.....when it works!

I've seen o-ring grooves not be turned down quite enough on the main piston, but it was a rarity, which could be the source of your problem.

The focus of my thread is trading for markers of value below my monetary request; however, the rules state I had to provide a definitive price so I posted as such. To be fair I did post OBO which I understood to mean "or best offer" so folks are always welcome to make a counter offer though if someone offered your insinuated values of $165-$175 I would have to pass.

I could always throw the piston in the marker take a few test shots on video to cover my rear and sell it as a working marker but honestly reading the forums it seems no Thumper really works for long. I took care to make sure anyone considering buying the marker knows exactly what they're getting as I have no desire to misrepresent myself, the marker or compromise my ethics simply to get rid of the marker.

Regardless, thank you for your interest!

I swapped out all the reg o-rings with black ones that come in the Eclipse Ego/Geo master o-ring set. The good they don't stretch, the bad they are difficult to put on. After i did that i re-assembled the gun and dry fired 1000psi worth of trigger pulls. after i did that i noticed the shots to sound diffrent, then a gush of air down the bolt, disassembled the gun and saw that the clear orings used on the piston, the front one had rolled out of the groove. Pulled the whole piston out, took out the new orings that were swapped in from metadyne with the same ones from the Eclipse kit. Did another 1000psi dry fire run and it didn't skip a beat. My lubrication was regular dura-lube oil. It is very slick and seem to go threw the gun well without a problem. Hopefully this can be the fix i'm looking for.

THE-SHOOTIST Anyone chubbin' like me for this?
mailmanmike Since Monday! That's more than 4 hours though, so according to those cialis ads I should see my doctor.
tlane77 I think for a non-chemical chubby it's 6 hours before its time to see a doctor. So you should be good for another couple hours.
splattttttt I wasn't goin to google "chubbin" because I assumed it had to do with fat. The lard type, not the fun stuff. But what ever feelings Jeff's experiencing, then they must be of the fun like stuff...
