Fan of EMR
He said he would most likely be ordering the material sometime next week, production to start after it arrives. So everyone waiting for pistons would be waiting for that

Well I just got mine in the mail. I got it bead-blasted, and now it's battle-ship grey (was too stupid to realize that I should have asked for it to be polished, but oh well, I'm gonna duracoat mine gloss black). Got to shoot mine, 10 shots, no problem, just loud as hell, makes my phantom look better by the minute. Are thumpers supposed to sound loud? I was rocking a .683 insert with a Sly stealth tip (carbon fiber btw) and it was STILL loud.

It's probably because I've been shooting my Phantom since I sent this gun away Does anyone here do duracoating? I'd like to have mine duracoated gloss black, I could do it myself, but I don't trust myself using the shake n spray stuff..

Well, shot 20 more shots through it, and NO problems! Piston resets like it should, and there are no leaks (running a 12 gram, sly-stealth barrel and AR grip setup). I think the bead-blasting may have loosened things up a bit, gonna buy some more paint for a more thorough break-in.

I have a V4 piston otw, will let you know if I hear any differences (I'll have a V3 and V4 side by side) so I'll just swap barrels. Maybe a video.
