I have heard 6 months minimum some times longer. That's why I decided to fix my own problems. Most of the problems is the piston. Breaking, bending, chewing o-rings, just a bad design. The answer to their piston problem was to make a beefier one. Which means you need to send it in to them to have installed. To me that was not the answer. use something stronger. The other problem thumper's were having is the hammer. The first ones were made of aluminum. Since then they made them from steel. If you have one of the new ones you have half the battle beat. How you can tell if you have the newer hammer is you will have a random screw in the side of the body. That's from when they punched the old pin out that holds the hammer in. The last problem is the ball detent. That one I am still working on. But if you happen to have one of the newer thumper's you will see that they milled the body out and put a new detent in. Kind of looks like a tippmann one. I have a couple of them and they seem to do the job.

Thankx for reading.

Dang. I figured it was something like that. Fortunately I have a sniper to tide me over.

Just tested mine again now that I got paint. Set external reg at 250 psi so that the internal reg lets me go to 300 fps and under.

Are you able to implement the improvements needed to make them stay functioning?

I pre ordered a thumper which never worked.
I stayed tuned to the updates for a few months but it seemed like nothing was happening. I got distracted by other things and the thumper has been broken in the closet ever since.

I too am interested to hear if there is a way to receive updates and if they are up and running successfully with the updates. Is shipping to metadyne the best way to deal with this? I don't mind waiting as the marker is just going to die in my closet otherwise.
