need pump related thought, think out of the box,

some of you know me some don't, here's the skinny;
i have a paralyzed left arm from a motorcycle crash, there is a small amount of motor function but my arm is not strong.

having a bum arm makes pump play difficult to say the least.

had a Nasty Hound's-Tooth that many would be familiar with, it was the first ever Black PC one with Nickel muzzle breaks.
but it proved no fun to play with because pumping her was just too much for me in my situation.

had a Phantom, same deal, pumping her was too much for my bad arm and it was no fun to play with.

now, i tried a friends PGP today and suddenly, no trouble pumping it.

near as i can figure it, i need to have my left hand closer to my right hand,
because this position uses what little strength my arm has to it's best effect.

this being said,
i would like to get another Palmer Pumper,
but i need a way to get the pump handle closer to the grip frame, possibly mounting her off the auto-trigger arm/lever might be an idea,
or maybe a bolt action type lever that sticks out the back of the bolt so my left hand just holds the bolt and i actually push the marker forward.

any ideas that you pump players can provide to help get me shooting a pump gun again would be greatly appreciated!

think out side the box, let me hear it all, you never know when something is so crazy it just might work!

I have a single shot, bolt action Pug. the only problem I might see is that the bolt action needs to be opened and closed (like a real firearm).

Have you tried a pump Automag? Super easy to pump. SpinDoctor has a video of his on his website. Spin Doctor Paintball -- Gear, info, photos, services, and more!!!

A stock Pug is very similar dimensionally to a PGP. Also, the pump stroke will be easier, since it uses a longer softer mainspring.

My snipers the easiest thing to pump I own. Have you looked into a pneumatic assist pump? There are some nice snipers and phantoms floating around here.

Do you have much finger strength? If you get a Sniper, you can do a 'hitman mod' like this-

That's a trigger from an E-spyder that I've attached to the bottom of the pump handle. I can hold onto the reg and pump it with my fingers.

Now, couldn't you just put a shorter pump arm and pump on any Sheridan platform gun to bring things down to PGP length?

Have you looked into a pneumatic assist pump? They only require a short pump and do not require you to pump against the resistance of the hammer spring. You might get Palmer’s to make you one if you tell them why.

Why not a linkage arm and an undercocking kit mounted either directly to a reg or on certian guns the trigger fram? If you could get used to an off set pump you could figure a way to link a pump to the side of the gun up near the trigger. Or really out of the box why not put the pump Under the grip where you would screw in a bottum line and link it like a lever action.

I'm thinking a bolt action with a Right Hand Feed, and any pump your opening the bolt and closing it.

and call me stubborn but i want to stick with a Palmer Marker/Gun.
