How is velocity adjusted?

oatsy 08-08-2011 10:15 PM

also do regular .45 grips work? or is it some special grip?

thanks!

all m16 grips should mount up such as cci .45 gripframes, but some of them, like the ccm 86 frames for phantoms, extend to far forward and cover the trigger a bit.

Velocity is adjusted with an allen key.
Here's a pic of the back with the back section pullled. It would be the hex slot on the bottom right.

Depends on what you define as regular .45 grips. .45 panel grips work just fine and wrap around styles like dye stickies, tippmanns, etc might need some modification.

Dave, what does the Logo on your Thumper look like?

Here's the one on mine:

Oatsy, here's another look at the Rear of the Piston. This one is the soft AL version and takes a 7/32 Allen Head Wrench:

Has anyone taken the time to measure out the screws? Length, type, threading and pitch?

First Draft of the Manual. Let me know what you think, what you want to see changed/ added, etc.
