Picture help for pic thread?

How do you guys post pictures in your threads? The upload box (like on MCB) isn't visible on here. I only see an attachment box, and I can't link my pics from MCB, since it's down...

I think you will need to host your pictures using www.imageshack.us for example. I like imageshack because it provides code for thumbnails and full size photos. You don't even have to have an account to host your picture. Just upload and go! I use an account to keep track of my picture collection for use on different forums.

Yes, you need to host your pictures somewhere (imageshack.us, photobucket.com, putfile.com are all free sites you can use to host). Then you click the little yellow box with the mountain in it and put the URL of your hosted picture in it and click OK.

Ok thanks, I'm used to using the MCB upload feature. Technically, we're supposed to be able to upload here, but I haven't figured it out yet. Anyone else know how to upload here?

Oh, I just noticed. Go to Advanced reply. There is a Staple icon there. From there you can upload attachments. And not just pictures!

Photobucket has a few cool features, I especially like the way you can rezise the pics after uploading them, I noticed that two of my pics I posted last night where huge it was easy to change the size at the source.

Oh really? I'm going to have to try that out. That is far better than re-uploading over a slow connection.
