Question Lets make a CAD model of a TASO Typhoon... Together.

I dug out an ancient TASO Typhoon from my heap of Paintball parts, number 59 in this picture. The thing is that it wasn't exactly complete.
I thought I could leech of the common knowledge of the MCB community to get the dimensions for the missing parts.
Then there is the small detail of getting people interested enough to help out. If I just demand to get info without giving back, people will not even think of helping.

So... I have started to make CAD models of the parts I have, which is the body, feed neck, pump handle, pump rods, bolt and sight rail, everything else is missing.
That's where you come in. If you have a TASO Typhoon and a caliper, and are willing to take a few mesurements so I can complete the CAD model,
I will release everything in a bundle when it's done. I try to work like respected software companies and not release anything untill it is actually done.
If you want some goodies from me, then you have to help out too. Sounds fair enough?

What you can do if you have a TASO Typhoon is to take it apart and take pictures of the parts and I will draw on your picture to show which dimensions I need.
Some dimensions can be calculated from others, so you do not need to measure them all.
You will need a caliper and an angle guage or some other way to measure angles.
You can simple draw the outline of the part on a peice of paper and take the angle from there even.

Problem is, they're kind of rare...

Exactly. I measure the parts I have and someone else measure the other parts. However it seems like it's rare as in "none owns one" rather than in "expensive and sought after".

When I make a first draft of a CAD model I verify it with a 6axis digital probing arm if I have access to the part I am modelling physically that is.
Here is the verification of the TASO Typhoon feed neck, enjoy:

Notice all those decimal numbers? I usually try to even them down a bit after I have probed a part like this.
