That's just awful. It definitely beats the worst I've received. We should have a "hall of shame" with these photos.

Cleaning it cosmetically won't fix the problems you're having airing it up. You have to disassemble it, clean it completely, replace oil/grease and maybe even replace some o-rings (I don't know Thumpers).

I didn't realize how arrogant my post seemed until I read it again. Sorry, I knew chances were great that you knew that Thumper will air up after some tender loving care.

Good luck.

I bought a flatline reg from iisports on eBay.
They shipped it in a un padded envelope!

The air fittings were poking through holes in the bag.
I'm surprised it showed up, it could of fallen out.

Yes that is a really ugly marker.... looks like something i would buy. Hence the Nova fetish of mine.

But back to the shipping part... come on people really? You should have seen the way i just packed a marker for the last person. Padded the marker in the box. Then stuffed that box inside another padded box. All said and done 35.50 for shipping. lol

Phoenix...yes. I had it last time I was out at Jaegers, which is the only time I've played with it so far.

And thanks, Arson.

In my picture it's sitting immediately on top of the box it was shipped in. What saddens me about this Arson is they were very well packaged from Metadyne, with egg-crate foam inserts and even plastic bagged so it had no chance of it getting dirty. It's just a complete lack of consideration on your seller's part. It's the whole "Hey, I have my money now, who gives a **** if it works when it gets there," attitude.

Where did you buy if from if you don't mind?

My brother got a Trilogy in one of those large Tyvek USPS envelopes with no packing material at all.
