Hey, guys, thanks for all your answers. I'm rapidly learning that MCB is as friendly as AO (been there for some years now).

Anyways, I'll try to open it again and find what's wrong. Just the idea of sticking somenthing into the marker and hammering it to get the valve out frightens me a little bit but if that's the only way I'll better try this then have a nice piece stuck in the wall instead of bringing it to the field.

Last question is about the forum itself. I currently access AO and Pinta Brasil (Brazil's largest paintball forum) and both send me e-mails saying that someone posted on a thread I've posted before but MCB isn't doing it. Is it normal or should I "configure" it anywhere?

Thanks, guys.

Regards,

Mendel.

There is a way to subscribe to a thread...

On top of each thread there is a drop down menu titled "Thread tools" click that and then click "subscribe to this thread".

The hammering is'nt all that unusual in regards to vintage gear. Especially when we are talking BE.

Thanks, Jake.

Isn't there a way to configure my user to automatically subscribe to a thread I've posted?

And about the hammering, then I think I'll have to get used to it since I'm buying some old markers for my collection. I already have this Nightmare, a Tippmann 68 Special, a Splatmaster and a VM-68.

Before that I only had Automags (about every kind possible like pump, pneu, electropneu, e-Mag and classic) and Nelson stile pumps (a Lapco Grey Ghost from 1990 among them).

Thanks,

Mendel.

I dont beleive that option is set-up for MCB... However if you do shose to subscribe to one of your threads you need to change the Options to e-mail notification...

Go to your user control panel (very top of the page) When that comes up on the left side of the page click "Edit orptions, next scroll down a bit and click the drop down menu under "Default Thread Subscription Mode" and set it to "instant e-mail notification"

I havent ever used these features so it may actually shoot you an e-mail automatically.

I know this is a little late but scracrow has vintage BE Seal kits on his site.
Title

also the crosman piercing screen, 12 gram seal, and piercing pin from a 3357 will work in a nightmare. also the same parts are still use in Crosman pellet guns. thay are the same ones in my model 1077 pellet rifle.

and if you have a fasenal store in your area they can special order urethane orings in any size if your know the sizes you need or take your old orings with you so they can size then for your.

i have been told that most/all nightmare orings can be found in a cocker kit. the co2 pierce might be the same as tippmann hammer orings (they fit nicely last time i tryed) if you come up short i might have some extra orings laying around... i think i might even have a few extra valves.
