It is, to me, the best pump out there... bar none (I have owned or shot most). I have not had the chance to play on a field with it but in my yard shooting it is amazing. Holding it is amazing... it is amazing!!

Are you sure that wasn't a Series 5 RF? As far as I know CCM doesn't have a RF S6.

The RF is a series 5 body... not a 6.

Peace

One big difference between the SS-25 and the series 6 (referring to above) is that the Series 5 and 6 guns use cocker valves, the SS-25 does not. So if you're looking to use a PPS/AKA/other valve, stick with the higher end Series line

The weight difference between the 6 and the others is huge! That is one other thing to consider.

Peace

Photos do NOT do the Series-6 justice.

I shot one a couple or three weekends ago when my nephew and I were invited by some McBers to Ottawa for a friendly game.

The fit an finish on the S6 is perfect. It also looks much more sleek in person than photos suggest. It shoots as well as the finish - perfect.

I used to only buy markers with offset feeds. Now that I've tried vertical feed, I'm hooked. You can still put a sight on using an offset rail but you cut the height of the marker by several inches and make it much better balanced, especially with heavier hoppers.

Is it worth it? If you've got the money and you like this type of marker, I'd say so.

If I have the chance to get a S6 that is almost new for $450, should I take it.
