YES! Every penny. I have had mine for 6 months or something and I love it. Best pump I have ever owned - and I have owned pumps since 1988.

I have a S5RF and the main thing I liked about my gun is that I was able to mount a traditional set of sights.

That being said... The S6's are hella nice. I love my S5RF but even I can admit to the evolution in the CCM line that the S6 represents.

I won't shoot a CF gun, so the S-6 doesn't really appeal to me.

I have never played with a s6 or any CCM pump.

However, what makes it better than any other Sniper II with nice pump kit. There are SOOOO many very nice cocker parts out there for SOOOO cheap. You can get a new 05 Prostock for like $100 and slap a new CCM kit on it for $70. And bam! A super-light cocker with a smooth pump stoke for $170. The only thing you might want to replace is the bolt. The stock one has orings on it and causes drag in the body which messed with the smoothness of the pump stroke.

I think number 2.

They usually come from the factory not setup very well, bad AT timing and things like that.

Buy one, get the AT dialed in and a PPS valve will make them work better too.

This is what ive heard from my friend who uses one extensively.

I saw them on the net and was not impressed but in real life they are pretty darned nice looking - if it was me, I would still just pick my own body and make my own sniper.

They just seem too expensive for me.

Weight - about 1.5 pounds lighter than your prostock.
Auto-trigger.
86 degree grip (if you are into those)
Double ball detent - replaceable
Adjustable feedneck (thumb style)
Runs at 300 psi VERY efficiently.

However, mostly for me - it is the weight. I like that ALL the parts looks like one melded peice - but the weight REALLY makes a difference.

Shoot one and the tell me if they are comparable.

It amazes me that this board would spend 8,000 on a Desert Duck - but thinks a S6 is CRAZY!!!
