Thumbs up Best budget Autococker pumpkit

I'm looking to turn an old ans gen x cocker into a pump and was wondering what the best option for a cheap pump kit is? I think my cocker is pre 2k, but is there a way to check the year before ordering a pumpkit?

Thanks!

I really like the CCM economy kit. Post up a pick and we can see what year it is.

how big is the front block hole?

is it like 1/2" hole
(takes up most of the front face)

or is it like 3/8" hole
(looks really small, more like a #2 pencil size)

ans made both pre and 2k+

for $30 the wgp ergo pump kits are really nice
i just spent $37 i think on the carter pump kit

(both were on sale at paintballgateway.com)

i havnt tried the ccm eco kit... but its had great reviews

edit:
saw the pic, im 99% sure its PRE2k.
unscrew the bolt on the front of the gun (looks like a worm kinda... haha) then refer to the first part of my post!

Like Staunchy said, it is probably pre 2k. Take the front bolt out and you can make sure.

Protip: the pre2k hole is the same size and thread as the detent hole.

The $28 Hooptie kit on eBay is perfectly fine.

Thanks for the help (marker needs pre-2k pumpkit)! I was cleaning the marker today and when I removed the ans genx regulator parts of an old o-ring fell out of the vert asa. The o-ring on the ans reg is still intact; is this something i should be worried about? I think the previous owner may just have put an extra o-ring in the asa to accommodate his weird setup (ans reg wasn't screwed in all the way so that a way too small steel braided hose could fit the dropforward).

gas it up, if it leaks its from 1 of 2 spots.

the front banjo (worm lookin thing) or the valve

if you gas it up, no leaks, no problem, no worries!

The PMP Industries kit tends to hover at or below $30. That's what I'm using currently on my sniper.

Or you could spend $50 on one of TJD's carbon fiber kits.
