Request: Bushmaster SI Help

Hey guys; I've been searching for a while now to find a place where people would appreciate the "quality" of such a marker. My Dad used to play back in the late 80's, and this was his marker. Custom made silencer, wonderful little scope. The issue I'm having is that I would like to bring it out to the field with me the next time I go - but, the trigger frame is very loose. It feels and looks like it's missing a screw on the front.

Can anyone point me in the right direction (or correct me if I'm wrong)?

your pic doesnt work.
there are 3 screws in the frame 1 in the back and 2 in the front. the 1 in the front closest to the trigger should be tight with an allen. you shouldn't be removing that one.
the one at the front of the frame is a thumb screw normally. finger tight. same with the back.

As far as the front screws; that's what I was thinking. I'm missing the thumb screw on the front (I have the Allen closest to the trigger frame).

Looks like you are missing the front thumb screw in the frame. Look at mine.

To clarify:


There are usually two thumbscrews that hold the frame to the body, in the pic, they have black heads. The rear one holds the body (and ASA/tank adapter) to the frame and screws in from the top. The forward thumbscrew screws in from the bottom, through the frame. The other, brass screw (mine was replaced by the pro-shop years ago) holds the barrel in.

The forward thumbscrew is an 08-32, the rear is a 10-32.
