All of your ideas are good ways to go. Also consider a lightened or delrin sleeved hammer. Get the springs right first.

Blowing air down the barrel or having a VERY loose paint match drastically affects 12g efficiency.

Im trying to gauge how much im loossing. Im pretty sure im shooting .677 or 679 through a 688 barrel. I can see light around the ball a pretty decent amount lol

Im trying to find someone with a similiar set-up to me so i can head in the correct direction. Everything im stating is theoretical and works (at least in my crazy mind lol)
