JT ER2 with spring feed

Thought I'd share what I'm working on with a JT ER2 I picked up. Nothing super special just removed the feedneck and added a rail to mount a BT spring feed. I have a nelson spring kit on the way to lighten the pump draw, and eventually I want to get and mod a smaller bore barrel to give better efficiency and a little more barrel length. I'll finish it off with an fde paint job.

Nice, was thinking same thing for loading, few questions, is there a velocity adjuster? And how hard was it to mount bt loader tube? I thaught id have mode tube like that only need mod gun, can you list exacts parts including exact rail used.?

No velocity adjustment except swapping springs.
Mounting the spring feed required removing the feedneck and carving out a bit of the body.
The spring feed is made by bt for the trracer, the rail from a 3 pack made for an airsoft g36. To mount the rail I drilled a couple holes for screws sized to the rail holes while the shell halves were together. There is an empty channel inside the shells in which I glued a couple hex nuts.

I can get pics tomorrow if you want, just painted it.

You can heat up that barrel and shove a freak insert into it. Worked with mine.

really?!?! what'd you heat it with?

A heat gun, which is just a very fancy hairdryer. Could probably get away with propane torch.

This is the area of removal to fit the spring feed.
