I've heard you can cut the valve spring. I haven't on mine, so I'm not sure how successful it may be, but I had to do it to my "Anti-Phantom" and it's working great.

Mine shoots perfectly around 280. The other project one i tinkered around with and by changing the spring(think i tried a E-Maxx suspension spring and that worked too) I got it to about 280.

I usually pick mine (springs) up at Ace, it is the place after all. Splattys are awsome, I have 2 now (Frontier Bill yours will ship in the morning) and I am always looking for more. Fun to moddify too.
Kindney Thief have you ever made relpacement triggers? Alluminum? I've been getting more and more with busted wornout triggers.

I have a splatmaster that I cannot get above 150 FPS, and I have tried all sorts of tricks. Is it possible to get the valve open to check that for problems? Because that is the only part of the marker that I have not modified.

Anyway, it will be headed to the "for sale" forum in the near future, but I don't think anyone would want one that doesn't work well enough to be field worthy.
