What did I just buy?

I won an interesting pump on eBay listed as a Paintball Sports Cal. 68

Breech drop with a Taso style ASA and a Spyder style frame (nub on the finger guard), with an M16 grip. Brass internals.

What did I actually get? Will have pictures soon.

Sounds like it was probably a Kingman Hammer. One of my favorite nelson-based markers. Spyder threads.

That is, unless you bought it from I&I, in which case it is a mutant frankengun and good luck.

This is the auction

Paintball Sports Cal 68 Paintball Marker | eBay

Its not a hammer since its a black body, unless there were a few uncommon black ones.

Some hammer models did come in black. Almost identical to a hammer with some minor differences. The extra bit at the tip of the pump handle is interesting. The pump arm screws are odd as well but could be replacements. I think it might be a knockoff.

Definitely looks right for a Hammer especially the pump handle

the pump handle does look very much like a hammer, but... It has that weird extension and it does not have a raised sight on the front..all my OG hammers had a little sight nub up front...damn now I wont get anything done at work looking at vintage rex trying to figure it out

I think it is a knock off but it looks to be a quality one if it is.... threaded barrel ?

At least I'm not crazy for thinking it was a strange original hammer.

I don't know if it has a removable barrel. I'm trying to arrange picking it up since its local to me.
