Best Paint for Lapco Grey Ghost

Hey guys, getting ready for the SoCal stockclass game this saturday and I'm heading to the store tomorrow to by some paint.

The Grey Ghost has a LAPCO Big Shot barrel with a .690 bore - which seems awfully large to me.

Does anyone have any recommendations for what this guy likes to shoot?

Thanks,
Mark

Nothing that I can think of/have access to when it comes to bore match.

That's why you see Freak boring services left and right....

However, you should be able to find something that will do adequately in the mid/field grade range of paint. I've found the highend paint in my area is typically smaller than everything else.

Sorry I couldn't be much of a help.

The best paint I have shot period is Marbalizer, if you can still get it I recommend it. I have got it a couple times and its bigger bore, .688+ and shoots terrific and it keeps quite a long time too. I wish I could get it every time I play, it is a superior paint, the days I used it I was hitting everything I aimed at, and it was saving me $ by not wasting shots.

Hmmm I'll try out Marbalizer or Valken next time.

Today I just went and bought a $10 bag of 500 Red Legion paintballs. Which look pretty ghetto but the store said they were the closest to .690. Playing tomorrow, will report back.

Just a couple of weeks ago I bought a case of Marbs, they were .687 when I bought them and not to oily. By the time I used the rest of the case (4 weeks later) the paint had shrunk down to .682, I had to use a .679 insert to avoid roll-outs.

Grey Ghost has a detent that keeps paint from rolling out. You can shoot any highend paint you want and get good results. I second the Marbs.

I've got a .680, 10" Palmer barrel in the mail, so that should ensure a much better fit with the current paint. Will post pics when it arrives.
