Sweet spotting help

Hey there pumpers, looking for a little help here. So Im running a 2k+ sto cotton candy and am having issues spotting the reg. My setup is a 68/45 with ninja reg (all shims removed), cam drive asa, oracle reg, I believe the stock internals, all with a 45 fat ccm frame, at kit, ccm pump kit, and a 684 boomy. So I am trying to sweet spot the reg, I turned the ivg in until 2 or so threads are showing (on the more side than the less) and I can not find the sweet spot. I zero the reg, start turning it up and the velocity keeps going up until the reg is full open and its still climbing. I moved the ivg in and out a crank or 2 and Im still not able peak out the velocity and find thew sweet spot. I've never actually sweet spotted a reg before so Im not sure if I am doing it properly but as I understand, turn IVG in a few turns, zero out reg, increase pressure until velocity peaks then adjust velocity with IVG. Any help is appreciated, please be gentle

With all shims removed, your ninja tank reg should be putting out around 450-500 psi (mine puts out 470).

WGP regs decrease output pressure when turned in (clockwise) and increase when turned out (counterclockwise). A quater turn seems to change the reg pressure by about 120 psi (just tried it on a black magic reg). What FPS are you hitting at how many turns in for the IVG?

Ive had the ivg turned in a hair over 2 threads showing, not sure what that equates to in physical turns but 2 threads in the gun are visible and at one point, I was over 400 fps.

Is there a way to know this is the issue and if so, would this fix it CCM AC Hammer Spring 4D0060 x AC | eBay

Also was told about the Ying method where you back out the ivg to flush and set the reg to get 270+/- fps and then adjust velocity via ivg that way. Thoughts?

My guns can't hit 270 with the IVG flush. I have to turn it in a few.
