The blasting was ridiculously easy. I was able to do what would have taken me hours by hand in a few seconds.

I get that shops need to make a profit and have to cover overhead, but some of the charges I've seen for blasting small parts are...interesting. I'm tempted to buy a used machine and offer this service on the side for cheap!

Just tried the barrel tip again and it appears to have bonded to the body for life! I'm never going to put a barrel extension on this, so its going to stay there now.

I researched the Duracoat option some more and found out that it is an epoxy. After doing some searches in the internet I found a product from VHT that is an epoxy paint in a cheap ($7.00) aerosol can that you can buy at auto parts stores. It was made for shocks and struts and other under carriage parts that need to be coated with a highly durable medium. I picked up a can at Advance and masked of the parts and painted them today.

Here are the pics:

It came out real nice in my opinion. I just ordered some fresh CCI internals and snagged some battle grips for it.

I've been cleaning up the pump arm but it's still dull and looks its age. Can these things be shined up?

Mother's makes a plastic polish, though, people say vaseline does wonders.

Restoration

Beautiful restoration

Your pump is Nylatron (black ribbed Nylon) - sand with fine paper and then clean with mineral spiritss. Use Rustoleum 2x Ultra Paint and Primer and then clear coat a week later after the paint has cured.

Here is an image of how mine came.

I then waxed it a week later.

Note: I gave up using the in grip CO2's because I would constantly blow out the pin seals.

If parts are ever needed for the Nelspot, then please PM me.

^ Thanks for the info. That looks sharp! Did you make those grips?

I might get a back bottle asa and run a bucket changer off there if the 12g route fails me.
