Spyder hammer pump

I'm assuming you are referring to the "bolt" that slides back and forth and pushes the paintball into the barrel inside the gun. Screw it in to turn up your velocity. Don't go to far or the gun won't cock.

is it an older hammer/new hammer/ hammer plus or a new hammer 7 which is mag fed? the older hammers require a spring change to adjust velocity, you'll need to get either a spring kit or a shim kit. I like the shim kit better and ones for a spyder will work. some older hammers might have a rva but I cant remember ever seeing one. most are back bottle. did the hammer with the metal grip frame and bottomline come with an rva? or have the option? now im curious

Hammer A and Hammer Plus had adjustable velocity. I have never seen a RVA on a Nelson platform gun. Except for the Sterling every Nelson with adjustable velocity (that I have knowledge of) is adjusted by basically sticking a long screw driver down the barrel and adjusting a bolt (TPC) to change the spring pressure on the hammer.
