Metadyne's new pump gun - Codename: Doorstop McPaperweight

Just saw a prototype version of this in a video. Looks very similar to the Thumper. Very rigorous testing process, and thus I'm really hoping it ends up being what the Thumper should have been.

Code name: Phoenix

I always wanted a thumper but didn't have the desire to tinker with them enough to get them working. If this turns out to be a reliable pump I may have to pick one up.

Huh. So what about all the people sitting with broken Thumpers? Maybe there will be an upgrade path.
