| I have it running without the cap, as does jt5xx the other guy ... But I plan to put one in there to see if it helps any.

| Well, for reference, here is the only way I was able to get just a 9V battery in an unmodded CCM 45 frame: The stock CCM grips are a bit thicker than how far the battery sticks out. So I think it can work, but the battery connecter might be a PIA. Ideally, I think I would like the microswitch to sit right below the sear without having to remove any metal. Otherwise I would have to devise something that would extend down the spring tube and mount the switch on the spring base. |

| As far as boards and caps, the mini morrlock does require a cap to run the mq. the universal t-board needs a cap i suggest a minimum 2200 uF for a 4ms dwell. i tried some smaller caps but when fired you wont get that solid pop. both the morrlock and t-board need some soldering. i have had success with a stock ion board but the dwell settings are high. |
