and possibly a chrome skull with red gem eyes shifter knob as the pump handle..hmmm

You did that all in a garage workshop? You must either have the nicest garage on earth, more patience than any man I know, or a helluva lot of luck. That is just beautiful, on all accounts.

I'd drop a pretty penny for one of those. You made a purely functional piece into a showpiece with some teeth. That's just incredible.
