They named it "Pyre" and it isn't really screaming , they are hollering though .

For $585, you can get an "Oak Pyre", with AT, 45 frame, left or right or center feed, built on Stabilizer, barrel w/ wedgits and more.

I am saving/selling to get one.

Mavericks are available new for $85ish.

The guns are there, the desire does not seem to be.

Nonsense.

If there was a different mfg making something as simple as CLEAN factory mid block snipers / sheridans with a good AT setup they would sell.

Sure theyd have a hard time differentiating from CCM but they could make themselves popular easily. Id buy a nice clean Mid block gun with good threaded feednecks and preferably wire detents for a fair price.

It's all about preference... I could never be happy with just one pump. Just like so many semi players, could not live with more them self's.
Just like golf. One club ain't enough... But what the heck do I really no about golf? Zip.

I agree with the front page idea that a decent all-metal pump something along the line of a Maverick/Traccer (sp?) for the new pump crowd.

a reintroduction of the Nelspot would be nice.... in either stainless steel or figure 8 extruded aluminum, altho im not sure of the feed port as opposed to the nelspot's welded feedtube

A clone of the nelspot in fiber reinforced plastic like the splatmaster would be amazing. The only thing is that you can't skimp on the internals like in Brass Eagle pumps.

metal makes me feel better ^_^ unless its done similarly to the challenger kit (brass lined barrel bore, with steel valve and trigger frame)
