| Pumper | Hey... tell me your Buzzard story. Why do you like them and any issues you had to address? Peace

| I loved mine becasue it was unique and beautiful. I hated it because of the 1.5 finger DYE frame. Of course, Earon has gone back to sliders...

| Yeah.. Mine comes apart after almost every day of play, and I have to re tighten it or it will Autotrigger.

| If I were to buy a Carter (new or used) I would have to get two modifications done. 1 - drill and tap for a screw to hold the snub onto the valve body (so they won't separate and auto trigger) 2- drill through the feed tube and counter sink to screw the feed tube onto the snub (so the feed tube stays in line) My only two peeves with Buzzards, but are relatively easy fixes. I am sure for a little more coinage, Earon would do it at his shop. Besides that, shooting them is almost a sexual experience. |

| I absolutely love mine, its one of the most accurate guns I've shot. Mine has a beautiful red to black dust anno and the action is just incredible. I had the AT issues but I drilled/tapped the snub. That fixed my only issues with the marker. Occasionally I get a autofire but its once every 100 shots as opposed to the every 5-6 shots. ![]()

| I just sent an order to Carter Machine for my dream Buzzard... why do I do these things? I really want a Mini-Buzzard, but I have heard that they are perhaps too tiny (especially for tall people with long arms) and light. Decisions, decision... |

When Carter Machine gets back to me, I am going to ask if the two issues I have can be addressed. All it would take is a few extra minutes of work on the raw pieces before anno. Keep in mind that anything from Carter blurs the line between form and function. I have a Phantom that will perform just as well as a Buzzard, but I really want a Buzzard again. Everything about it is an amazing experience. It has a beautiful pump stroke, nice crisp action, really good feel when it shoots, and it looks damn sexy. However, keep in mind that you are paying a premium for a hand made work of art. Also understand that these are generally not guns to grab and go to a game with. My Phantom is still the only gun I trust to bring to a two day scenario without a backup. They require a checking over before play to ensure that everything on them is in good order. In my opinion though, their looks, performance, feel, and uniqueness (relatively speaking here) make them worth the money. They are not for everyone however. | |

| Pumper | Well I have owned 3 Buzzard [2 used and 1 new](pre Dye, Dye and post Dye) and Comp and Box gun so I have been around them... all had issues. Just asking to see how these issues have been addressed ... and wondering why Carter has not fixed them. Peace
