illusion questions

i went to use my illusion for the first time and the balls would just fall out when i shot. i had trouble getting the velocity high enough for the ball to actually shoot out. im trying to run it with a reg and air. so do i need stronger springs. if so, which ones do i get

If the velocity is THAT bad...like all cocker based paintguns check and make sure the bolt is right-side up. The hole that channels air might be upside down...which would equal little or no velocity. Next I would check the air source and make sure the tank was full. Then I would check to make sure the reg was turned up pretty high. Then and only then would I start monkeying with springs. If the gun was left cocked for an unreasonable ammount of time in storage the main spring might be shot, but that is more unlikely than the other things I mentioned.
