Buzzard barrel options

I've had my Buzzard for a few months now, but have only used it for about 10 minutes. I get too many roll outs with the stock barrel and the threads on the marker are too tight to accept just any cocker thread. I'm mostly just wondering if other people have had this problem and what the possible solutions would be.

I used one of their compression kits on my carter and it worked great.

On a custom carter($$$1,000) one should not have to use tape for roll outs.

That's how I feel on the matter. I'm definately gonna give the electrical tape a shot though, just as a band aid solution until I figure something out.

I was also considering the ole nail polish detents, but I tried it on my Houndstooth a while back and I was not impressed with the results.

One solution, trade it off... I'm sure we could work something out.

i believe i read it that Carters are Sniper threaded, not Cocker threaded. The difference in that on a Sniper threaded barrel the end of the barrel where the bolt meets is beveled to better accept the bolt.
stole this pic off the nation

if you get any barrel you do like that doesn't fit, take it to a machinist and have them bevel that barrel to match the stock carters. Or you could send it in to PPS to get wedgited, $15 IIRC. I have thought of doing that to mine, but i never get roll outs.
