Pump Kit smoothness?

Is there a difference in Pump Kit smoothness, while cocking, between the CCM Pump Kit with Auto trigger and the WWA Premium Pump kit? If I get an autotrigger setup on the WWA will I be able to shoot it just as fast or faster than the CCM Pump Kit?

shoot fast with a pump? lol...

only thing I know is that the new carbon fiber pump handles only touch the guide rods wit .25in of aluminum.. while full handled ones touch with a full length of delrin making them more smooth

ccm is as smooth as you need, my vendetta was not.. but it may have been a faulty kit, or my sniper was just sprung wrong..

but yeah, I think all kits are fairly similar.. they all are the same general design and material, so there may be variance in each maker, so theres no telling without testing..

Pump smoothness and lightness are 2 different qualites that seem to be interchanged pretty often. To me, smoothness is the pump action having the same resistance throughout it's stroke. Lightness is how easy it is to pump. All sheridan based pumps are not smooth since there the hammer does not engage until halfway through the pump stroke. Also it seems that you have to trade a bit of effeciency for a lighter pump stroke. Having an auto trigger will cause the pump action to drag more since you are moving more parts(Though it may be unnoticeable). Although I don't have experience with the WWA kit, I would assume it would pump the same as long as it does not bind. Go with one you like, I haven't heard anything wrong with the WWA kit(except for the mini kits having misaligned holes) The biggest difference you can make in making an easy to pump 'cocker' based gun is new springs.

Just for reference. This pump, has a lighter and smoother pump stroke than the zanbatou you sold me. It still retains all stock o-rings(no delrin flat rings) and has the WGP pump kit, which is one of the lesser desired kits.

The full handle ones touch the guide rods with the same amount of aluminum. The delrin section is bored out larger, so it does not come in contact with the guide rods.

LOL, well you are cocking back a hammer spring that must hit the valve with enough force to allow enough air to shoot 2 paintballs as once. I believe that requires almost 3 times the air that one shot would use. So basically any non-binding pump would feel lighter and smoother.

Actually, no. Most cocker pumps that I have tried at fields are not smoother, lighter maybe, but not smoother. All stock pumps are about the same in heavyness. Worst offenders are the midblock karni pumps.

Agreed. I lightened and smoothed the pump stroke on my S6 with some sandpaper
