The NEW Grey Ghost

Well, I got the gun in today.

And let me just say, that if everyone who bought one of these guns, eventually does get one, you will not be disappointed.

I'll have pictures up and a review up soon, and I need to take it apart too, but my initial response to it was great.

A few issues, but nothing that can't be changed later.

No no... This is the prototype grey ghost the Blowfish recieved as a tourny prize, and... According to Lapco... were not supposed to sell, but give back when the "production" ghost was released.

I'm trying to get the whole story now about it. Chefdave should chime in here as he knows a lot about all this too....

Again, this is the prototype grey ghost, and not the release version. No idea when that will come out, if ever. Well, I imagine someday, but no idea when.

I'll get pictures up in a few hours.

You've pretty much got most of story the way I heard it.

It all started when one of the members put one up on e-bay. Lapco started bidding on it to get it back. They were saying Blowfish wasn't allowed to sell them. But there was no contract with the team, or with the event coordinator I believe. As far as everyone except Lapco was concerned, the guns were a prize, therefore the property of the Blowfish members. Lapco made a huge stink about it.

Looking forward to hearing a review.

Sweet! By the looks of it though, I will be sticking with my phantom. About the same price, and the only beef I have with the phantom is the single pump rod, if the Ghost had 2 to stabilize it, I would be all over it, but with one rod (and a lot fewer color choices than the phantom), I see little reason to switch companies.
