really for a nelson pump all you need is oil. if you have to use grease keep it to a minimum.

Alright..... any one have any sort of idea about this one?

I have never come across a bushy with a serial number on it.

Elbow size?

So went to throw a hopper on my old Bushy deluxe and none of my elbows worked. What size/kind of elbow do you guys use? Thanks in advance

It's a 1 inch. You need an Atomic Elbow from APP or a Pro Elbow from Armson. You might still be able to find one of the old Brass Eagle elbows, but it's likely that it would be brittle by now.

I gave up trying to find an elbow locally, so I threw a clamping feedneck on my bushy!

Bigoldskool,
One of my bushmasters has a serial on it similar to yours (don't know the number though). Have to start researching that a little and see what I come up with. I think what I found before it that these were rereleased bushmasters around 2000 (which the serial suggests).

Respectfully, I don't think so. I remember the ICD Bushmasters, they had silver engraving and made a very zippy sound when pumped due to roughly finished barrels. They were almost Bushmasters, the look was there, the feel was not. Also they didn't turn purple.
