I believe Steve started developing the "trojan" in the spring/summer of "91.
I may be off by a year though.
I visited the factory where he showed me some protos.
He was able to get a few working models made in time for Christmas for those that pre-ordered.
He was at the point of needing cashflow to keep production flowing.
Sales did not take off like he had hoped.

Good find, Dan. Speedball gear looked dorky as hell back then, still does!

RatFink, I'd love to hear butchering stories about SIs...I've seen enough done to KPs, but I've never seen a butchered SI.

Wonder if someone could cause a new "AGG" movement by wearing such a get up without the vest, and having an "super old school" JT mask and all that....? in all seriousness, I didn't use to think that get up was dorky.....when my friends were in the motocross sport at that time, so I didn't think much of it lol

i wish i still had my AXO motocross pants... the bastards in the ER cut mine off of me. i was cursing like a sailor at them too.

BTW CamoDeafie, there is no "r" in motocross.
